Only if we take responsibility for our actions, only if we make ourselves accountable for our decisions, only then, we can actually claim to be free. Up until then we will try to blame someone or something else for whatever is not the way we want it to be in our lives. This song is a reflection on how someone managed to break free from what tends to hold him down.
